So happy to report we made some progress forward last week! The Carmel Valley Community Planning Board agreed to write a letter to the city in support of our coalition’s cause. The board graciously allowed us to present even though Surf Cup, once again, declined to attend the meeting. However, Surf Cup did send a letter to the board, which they accepted as Surf Cup’s representation. A huge thank you to all who attended this meeting! I do think seeing this kind of community involvement helped to make our case!
